J. Roddy Walston & The Business return with ‘Wanting’ and new tour dates

When J. Roddy Walston & The Business announce that they’ll be going on tour, the Southern rock world stands up and takes notice.

Change that thought. Forget about the Southern rock world, the whole music world stands up and takes notice when this legendary band hits the road. If you have never heard of this band, then take a minute and keep reading.

The band was formed in Cleveland, Tennessee, about an hour north of Chattanooga, in 2002. They began like most others started, by recording a demo in Walston’s basement and shipping it out to whoever would listen to it.

Their first EP came out that year as well, Here Come Trouble, which was recorded entirely in the living room of Walston’s house. Their big break came in 2007 when the single “Rock n’ Roll II” was used in an episode of Beverly Hills 90210. From there, J. Roddy Walston & The Business were on the move, and their star power hasn’t dimmed since.

If you have never seen this band perform in person, this will be your golden opportunity to do so. They’ll be on the road, from coast-to-coast, until October, and here are the complete tour dates so that you can make plans to see this awesome country music band in action.
